A new leak from Guccifer 2.0 shows the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee instructed staffers on how to deal with Black Lives Matter activists. It called BLM a “radical movement” and said, “Don’t offer support for concrete policy positions.” It also told them to limit the number of BLM activists invited to events. …Picture this: You have thousands of activists around the country demanding Black men and women not be killed, harassed, and arrested by police. You have a representative democracy in which each representative is supposed to think for themselves. …But behind closed doors, those representatives and their staffs are being told to avoid showing ANY support for policy positions that would help address the systemic racism in our country. They’re basically being told to feed BLM a smiley face and then avoid it at all costs. This is a perfect example of how our government doesn’t represent the people but instead takes orders from a corporate elite.
