Awesome. Thanks for reposting, Lee. It only takes one person to create a question in everybody else’s minds (and hearts), even if it’s not apparent right away… That guy changed the world. And so did you, when you posted this.
I always find myself wondering who these riot police are? who are their families? Are their friends and families not on the other side?
it only takes one… sometimes, and the result will be a tidal wave that follows up. one person can make a difference. i have been there and know. maybe not forever or for long, but the difference is made and can never be taken back.
my regrets, which are few, in my life have been, NOT STAYING, and seeing it through. this cop will forever regret not saying, NO, i am not leaving, i will remain here to watch you, to preserve the rights and safety of my fellow citizens.
as we educate our own police and military, we will change our world and the whole world eventually.
until then, stay awake.
“Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events. It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”
― Robert F. Kennedy
When the tide turns, it does.
You said it Veracity!
Thanks Lee!
that’s the way i like it.
Every protest, every movement, every revolution starts with one person taking a stand for what’s right.

One. One out of how many?
