Income Inequality Is Through The Roof, Where Is The Mainstream Media??

[148] Gov’t Literally Puts Pig Shit Before Voters, MSNBC Becomes Fox News, Trump Impeachment & More

In this latest episode of Redacted Tonight, Lee Camp reveals a foul smelling situation in North Carolina that has implications for environmental justice everywhere. The state’s legislators overrode their governor’s veto of a bill that would make it difficult for residents to sue pig factory farms that literally spray swine feces into the air. The air may be hazy with the stench of pig poop, but the state’s choice of corporate industry profits over their constituents’ health and well-being is crystal clear. Later Lee covers how late to the game the Washington Post is on reporting about the income inequality that Occupy Wall Street protesters have been shouting about for years. In the second half, Correspondent Natalie McGill joins Lee at the desk to reveal the government’s latest strategy of suing the working class to recoup student loan debt, when going after their paychecks and benefits wasn’t enough. Finally, Correspondent John F. O’Donnell shows how MSNBC, corporate America’s left wing media refuge, is now embracing right-wing pundits all in an effort to cater to parent company and evil telecom monopoly Comcast. REVEALED: The Actual Shooter Of Martin Luther King Named For First Time

In this latest episode of Redacted Tonight VIP, Lee Camp talks with Dr. William Pepper, an attorney and author of the recent book, “The Plot to Kill King” in which Pepper presents evidence that it wasn’t in fact James Earl Ray who assassinated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Memphis in 1968. Pepper, an attorney who interrogated Ray a decade after King’s death, tells Lee who the real players are behind the shooting. While there was still one shooter, there was a bevy of co-conspirators, including state and federal government officials, who plotted the details of how Ray, who died in 1998, would become the fall guy in an assassination that would spark riots all across urban America. On behalf of King’s family, Pepper brought a civil action suit in 1999 against those involved in King’s death, bringing evidence before the courts that was never brought before the state 30 years earlier—including Ray’s alibi that placed him far from the crime scene. Dr. Pepper’s investigation was not without criticism. Despite violent threats to Dr. Pepper’s family and being lambasted by the mainstream media, the details of his private investigation leave you with no choice but to second guess everything you thought you knew about a death that was a defining moment in the Civil Rights Movement.

Our Internet Will Be Destroyed In The Coming Weeks & No One’s Talking About It

In this special extended segment, host Lee Camp delves deep into Net Neutrality, a.k.a. the fight for a free and open internet. Lee explains all of the new pushes by the telecoms and the FCC to undermine internet freedom, one of which is them going so far as to actually call their attempts at crushing internet freedom, you guessed it – INTERNET FREEDOM. It’s Orwellian and sick. Lee goes on to shred the head of the FCC, Ajit Pai, by tearing into video footage of Pai being an absolutely ridiculous, villainous corporate tool. Lee then explains how important maintaining Net Neutrality is. He discusses how an open internet is why movements like Black Lives Matter, the Bernie Revolution and Occupy have been able to even exist. This and more on Redacted Tonight.
